The original game was designed to teach school children about the realities of 19th century pioneer life on the Oregon Trail. Modify the line to point to the proper installation directory by changing Program Files to Program Files (x86). The Oregon Trail is a computer game originally developed by Don Rawitsch, Bill Heinemann, and Paul Dillenberger in 1971 and produced by the Minnesota Educational Computing Consortium (MECC) in 1974. Locate the following line in the OREGON5.INI file rsrcpath=C:\Program Files\The Learning Company\Oregon Trail 5 You may need change the file filter to All Files to see it.
